Cash handling and biometrics solutions provider Innovative Technology (ITL) reported a successful show at London’s Retail Technology Show (RTS) last week at Olympia. The exhibition brings together leading tech innovators from the retail and hospitality industry.
Commenting on ITL’s success, Chris Wright, UK Business Development Manager said, “RTS was a great show for us, we had a good location which attracted high footfall over the two days. Visitors to the stand were impressed with our latest multi-note recycler and our biometrics range for both age estimation and digital advertising were key draws to the stand.”
Speaking about Innovative’s biometric solutions, Chris commented, “Our AI powered biometrics range, deployed for accurate age checks and displaying targeted ads, were undoubtedly our star products at RTS. Retailers selling age restricted goods such as alcohol, vapes or tobacco were all keen to see how these solutions can help automate accurate age checks and display targeted adverts to free-up valuable retail space and enhance customer experience. Retailers can choose from a standalone solution (MyCheckr) where age checks and advertisements can be viewed on the device screen at manned checkouts or an integrated solution (ICU Lite) which can work with existing POS equipment at self-service kiosks. We look forward to working with new customers to set up trials and installs in convenience stores, large retail outlets and hospitality venues.”
Chris concluded, “Our new NV4000 multi-note recycler was the key product on the cash side with retailers impressed with its large recycling capacity and automated float management at a cost-effective price. This high performance, mixed note recycler can generate significant cash efficiencies by moving customers through the sales journey both quickly and efficiently. We look forward to following up on all the high quality leads and requests we acquired at the show.”
